Meet Recap

The Central Girls’ track team competed at the District 8 Championships on Saturday. The top four nishers in each event moved on to Seconals next week at Blue Springs South. Payton Moore edged closer to her return trip to state with a 3rd place nish in the 100 Hurdles 17.77. Jessica Wegenka just fell short of qualifying with a 5th place nish in the long jump 16-00.25. Gwen Bachman ran well nishing 6th in the 3200 with a me of 12:39The 4 X100 relay placed 7th with a me of 53.45.The day ended well as the 4 X400 qualied for seconals with a 4th place nish with team members Payton Moore, Haley Grier, Mariah Smith & Freshmen Victoria Orton running a 4:12.49.The Central Girls now look to nish 4th or be
