St. Joseph, Mo –  The Central Lady Indians will open play in the 2019 City Basketball Jamboree on Friday, November 22 at Missouri Western State University against LeBlond at 3:30 PM.  The Central Boys will open the evening session at 6:30 PM against LeBlond.  Go Indians!

2019 BASKETBALL SCRIMMAGE / JAMBOREE

PLACE: MISSOURI WESTERN STATE UNIVERSITY
DATE: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND, 2019 – GIRLS/BOYS
TIME: Girls 3:30 PM /  Boys @ 6:30 PM

ADMISSION: Tickets at the gate will be $5.00 for adults and students. Children age five and under will be admitted free.The School District ID & LeBlond ID passes will be honored, including a spouse and family, only when present with employee. No other passes will be accepted.

Fouls: Each player will be disqualified for the remainder of the session on the fifth foul. The 1-and-1 will be shot after the seventh team foul each session, and two shots will be shot after the tenth team foul of each quarter.

Timeouts: Each team will be permitted one 30 second time out per quarter.

Session Length: All Sessions will be TWO-6 minute quarters in length vs each opponent and no overtime periods will be played.

A Pom-Pom routine involving all four schools will take place immediately after the end of the girls’ sessions.

West Section – Lafayette                     South East Section – Benton

South West Section – LeBlond            East Section – Central

Note to cheerleaders, pompoms, pep squads, and students:

  1. Missouri Western State University officials have requested that drums and noisemakers be prohibited at the basketball jamboree.
  2. No balloons, signs, posters, confetti, or other decorations will be permitted.
  3. The same guidelines will apply, that are in effect at all MSHSAA district, sectional, and state tournaments.
  4. There is NO standing on chairs or jumping on chairs and bleachers.
