The lady Indians won 15-1 over North Kansas City Tuesday afternoon!
Freshman Delaney Grider would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Tuesday, driving in four on three hits to lead Central. Grider drove in runs on a single in the third and a single in the fourth.
The Indians secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the second inning. CHS put the pressure on, lead by singles by Freshman Trenidy Milliken, Freshman Zoe Trotter, and Junior Chloe Bell and triples by Junior Myah Dwyer and Junior Jaylee Wilson.
Senior Jackie Cox was in the pitcher’s circle for Central. Cox went four innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out one and walking zero.
Ameura Gonzalez was in the circle for North Kansas City. Gonzalez surrendered 15 runs on 16 hits over four innings, striking out one.
