May 15, 2020 – In an announcement made today by Principal Dr. Terri Godfrey and Athletic Director David Lau, the Central Indians have officially named Roger Smith as the next Central High School girls head basketball coach. St. Joseph, Mo – The Central Lady Indians secured the #2 seed in Class 5 District 16 tournament.  The Indians will open play on Monday, March 2 at 7:00 pm vs host Oak Park.  Winner will play for the Championship on Thursday, March 5 at 7:00 pm.

St. Joseph, Mo – The Central basketball teams will travel to Basehor Kansas and the Basehor-Linwood Invitational, January 21-25.   The Lady Indians will open play on January 21 against Blue Valley, while the Indians will open on January 22 against host Basehor-Linwood.   Below are the boys and girls brackets. St. Joseph, Mo – The Central Lady Indians open 2020 portion of their schedule this evening in Independence, MO against Suburban Red Conference rival Truman.   Central posts a 6-3 record following their KSA Orlando Classic Championship over Christmas break.   Game time is set for 7:00 pm.  Good Luck Indians!
